Nancy Mae (Hudson) Hubner, 64, of rural Tower Hill, IL, died at 6:20 p.m. Thursday, January 9, 2014 in her residence.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday, January 14, 2014 in the Assumption Christian Church, Assumption, IL with Rev. Michael St. Louis and Rev. David Hudson officiating. Visitation will be from 6:00-8:00 p.m. Monday in Howe and Yockey Funeral Home, Shelbyville, IL and one half hour before services Tuesday in the church. Burial will be in Pleasant View Cemetery, Assumption, IL. Memorials may be given to the Assumption Christian Church, Assumption, IL or Harbor Light Hospice, Decatur, IL.

Nancy was born on October 17, 1949 in Shelbyville, IL, the daughter of Charles Frank and Geneva Mae Shaw Hudson. She graduated from Shelbyville High School in the Class of 1967. Nancy was a member of the First Church of the Nazarene in Shelbyville, IL and was affiliated with the First Church of the Nazarene in Pana, IL and the Assumption Christian Church, Assumption, IL. She worked for International Paper in Shelbyville for seventeen years. She married Danny Ray Hubner on February 1, 1970. He died on August 2, 2008.

She is survived by her children, Jeff Hubner of Decatur, IL, Melinda Elliott and husband Tom of Tower Hill, IL and Bryan Hubner and wife Amy of Pekin, IL; brothers, Rev. David Hudson and wife Janet of Elkhart, IN and Jim Hudson and wife Pat of Mattoon, IL; sister, Lisa Hudson of Euless, TX; step-sister, Diana Dailey McCullough and husband Bob of Hurst, TX; mother-in-law, Marjorie Hubner of Tower Hill, IL; and six grandchildren, Mitchell, Patton, Bradley and Malydia Elliott of Tower Hill, IL and Sydney and Madison Hubner of Pekin, IL.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Danny; step-father, LeRoy Dailey; step-mother, Ivadene Hudson; and brother, Gerald Hudson.

The family would like to thank Symphony of Decatur Nursing Home and Harbor Light Hospice for all of their care and kindness.
