Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, April 13, 2015 in Howe and Yockey Funeral Home, Shelbyville, IL with Gary Crowder officiating. Visitation will be from 5:00-8:00 p.m. Sunday in the funeral home. Burial will be in Glenwood Cemetery, Shelbyville, IL. Memorials may be given to the 24 Hour Crisis Intervention Program at SCCS, Inc. or Saving Orphaned Animals both in Shelbyville.
Nathaniel was born on October 8, 1997 in Decatur, IL, the son of David Lee and Tonya Kay Allen Sarver. He was a junior at Shelbyville High School. Nathaniel enjoyed all sports, especially playing basketball with his friends and riding dirt bikes and motorcycles with his family.
He is survived by his parents, David and Tonya Sarver of Shelbyville, IL; sister, Nakayla Swisher (Christian) of Sullivan, IL; brother, Dylan Sarver of Mountain Home AFB Idaho; special niece, Rhiann Swisher of Sullivan, IL; grandparents, Alfred and Brenda Allen of Shelbyville, IL, Terry and Ann Sarver of Cowden, IL and Donna Jones of Shelbyville, IL; uncle, Trever Allen of Shelbyville, IL; aunts, Tammy Blickem of Shelbyville, IL, Kim Rueter of Effingham, IL and Carol Sarver (Mike Bauman) of Shelbyville, IL; great grandmother, Eva Sarver of Cowden, IL; and several cousins.
He was preceded in death by his step-grandfather, Joe Jones; and uncle, Larry Allen.
