Norma Doll

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, June 6, 2009 in Howe and Yockey Funeral Home, Shelbyville. Visitation from 9:00-10:00 a.m. Saturday. Burial will be in Glenwood Cemetery, Shelbyville. Memorials may be given to the First United Methodist Church of Shelbyville.
Mrs. Doll was born on June 10, 1915 in Shelby County, Illinois, the daughter of William Carter and Barbara Elizabeth Maurer Salmons. She worked for Shelby Loan and Trust Company in Shelbyville for many years. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Shelbyville, Shelby County Home Extension and Shelby County Farm Bureau. She married Edward Jacob Doll on January 15, 1949. He died on March 19, 1980.
Surviving are her sister-in-law, Sue Doll of Sherman; nephews, James Himes and wife Mary of Tower Hill, Gary Doll and wife Teresa of Peoria Heights and Brad Doll of Springfield; and nieces, Janis Himes of Champaign, Elizabeth Neumann and husband John of Geneseo and Janet Cook and husband Bill of Sherman.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Edward; and sisters, Irene and Ruth Salmons.
