Norma J Erwin
(May 12, 1930 – December 20, 2014)
Funeral services will be held at Noon on Tuesday, December 23, 2014 in the First Christian Church of Shelbyville with Rev. Kevin Ray officiating. Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. – Noon Tuesday in the church. Burial will be in Greenhill Cemetery, Sullivan, IL. Arrangements are by Howe and Yockey Funeral Home, Shelbyville, IL. Memorials may be given to the First Christian Church of Shelbyville, IL.
Norma was born on May 12, 1930 in Indianapolis, IN, the daughter of Clayton and Leoda Elizabeth Daniels Rayburn. She worked at Mallory’s in Pana, IL and later was a home health care provider. Norma was a member of the First Christian Church of Shelbyville, IL. She married Robert C. Erwin on October 5, 1947. He died on January 2, 1996.
She is survived by her sons, Don Erwin of Byron, IL, Tom Erwin of Gilbertsville, KY and John Erwin of Rutland, IL; daughters, Roberta Shultz of Watseka, IL and Lorraine Manola of Shelbyville, IL; sisters, Patricia Shork of Pennsylvania and Lavonne Cleek of Morris, IL; ten grandchildren, (Tim and Casey Shultz), (Chris and Chad Erwin), (Bob and Jim Erwin and Heather Ritter) and (Rob Helton, Nichole Barnett and Meaghan Morris); and 16 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and husband, Robert Erwin.
