Ola M Holley

Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, December 19, 2014 in Glenwood Cemetery, Shelbyville, IL with Rev. Greg Breeden officiating. Visitation will be from 1:00-2:00 p.m. Friday in Howe and Yockey Funeral Home, Shelbyville, IL. Memorials may be given to Lincolnland Hospice.
Ola was born on July 23, 1917 in Pocahontas, Arkansas, the daughter of David and Ella Smith Weeks. She married Clarence H. Holley on April 27, 1935. They owned and operated Holley’s Grocery Store in Shelbyville for many years. She also worked for Robertson’s Grocery Store and Barney’s Market in the same location and Sears in Shelbyville for many years.
She is survived by her granddaughters, Suellen (Rich) Storm and Karyn (Brad) Weakly all of Shelbyville, IL; great grandchildren, Erin (Ben) Hein, Jason (Heather) Storm, Trevor (Jenni) Storm, TerraAnn (Tim) Downs and Natalie Storm; eight great great grandchildren; several brothers and sisters; and sisters-in-law, Ruby Wallace and Mabel (Junior) Evans both of Shelbyville, IL.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Clarence on January 18, 2011; daughter, Shirley E. Smith; son-in-law, Lewis F. Smith; and great granddaughter, Laura Storm.
