Pamela J Himes

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, July 28, 2013 in Howe and Yockey Funeral Home, Shelbyville with Rev. Darrell Hinkle officiating. Visitation will be from 5:00-7:00 p.m. Saturday. Burial will be in Glenwood Cemetery, Shelbyville, IL. Memorials may be given to the American Cancer Society or Quad County Hospice.
Pam was born on January 25, 1963 in Shelbyville, IL, the daughter of Myron Owen and Sallie Darlene Watson Bennett. She graduated from Cowden-Herrick High School in the Class of 1981 and earned her Bachelor of Arts in Organizational Management from Greenville College in 2002. Pam worked for RR Donnelley in Mattoon, IL as a materials handler. She was a member of the First Christian Church of Cowden, IL. Pam enjoyed scrapbooking and was very artistic. She married Brent L. Himes on August 26, 2007.
She is survived by her husband, Brent; son, Ben Hoyt of Shelbyville; daughter, Belinda Hoyt of Shelbyville; father, Myron Bennett of Cowden; mother, Sallie Barr and husband Dorwin of Beecher City; sisters, Brenda Lewis of Shelbyville and Linda Headrick and husband Brian of Cowden; and five grandchildren, Micah and Noah Sandiford, Jonah Hoyt and Ian and Tucker Hoyt.
