Patsy Donnel
(July 25, 1941 – April 12, 2015)
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, April 14, 2015 in Howe and Yockey Funeral Home, Shelbyville, IL with Rev. Greg Breeden officiating. Visitation will be from 1:00-2:00 p.m. Tuesday in the funeral home. Burial will be in Glenwood Cemetery, Shelbyville, IL. Memorials may be given to Saving Orphaned Animals.
Patsy was born on July 25, 1941 in Shelbyville, IL the daughter of Glen G. and Rita Belle Weakly Donnel. She graduated from Shelbyville High School in the Class of 1959. Patsy was also a graduate of a business college in Kansas City. She worked for the Office of Naval Research for the U.S. Department of the Navy in Chicago for 36 years, retiring in 1996. Patsy loved living on the farm and raising horses.
She is survived by her brothers, Charles Donnel and wife Nancy of Stonington, IL and David Donnel and wife Cathy of Shelbyville, IL; sister, Eileen Powers and husband Darrell of Findlay, IL; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; nephews, Tim Powers; and nieces Dawn Donnel and Julie Powers.
