Patti L Kitchen

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday in Howe & Yockey Funeral Home, Shelbyville with Rev. Mike Mayfield and Rev. David McHenry officiating. Visitation from 5:00-8:00 p.m. Monday. Burial will be in Arthur Cemetery, Arthur.
Patti was born on June 22, 1964 in Shelbyville, the daughter of Wayne and Dixie Atteberry Furr. She was a personnel consultant at Rich Connell Agri-Search in Arthur. She graduated from Shelbyville High School in the Class of 1982 and attended Sparks Business College in Shelbyville. Patti married Douglas Kitchen on November 7, 1987 in Shelbyville. They lived for 13 years in the Sarasota, Florida area, where she focused on office management and accounting. The family then moved back to Arthur in 2001.
Surviving are her husband, Douglas Kitchen of Arthur; sons, Matthew (16) and Isaac (8) Kitchen of Arthur; parents, Wayne and Dixie Furr of Shelbyville; brother and sister-in-law, Tom and Dianna Furr and their daughters, Sydni and Maggie all of Shelbyville; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Phillip and Marilyn Kitchen of Arthur; and sisters-in-law, Nancee Kitchen of Taylorville and Jennifer Foust and her son Derek Foust of Arthur.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Charles and Faye Furr and Fay and Eleanor Atteberry.
Memorials may be given to the Patti Kitchen Memorial Fund for Arthur School District No. 305, in care of the State Bank of Arthur.
