Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, August 27, 2013 in Howe and Yockey Funeral Home, Shelbyville, IL with Craig “Seuss” Hensley officiating. Visitation will be from 5:00-8:00 p.m. Monday. Casual attire is requested. Burial will be in Myers Cemetery, Herrick, IL. Memorials may be given to the family. Paul was born on August 8, 1953 in Vandalia, IL, the son of Ralph and Jesse Dalena Burrus Berryman. He graduated from Herrick High School in the Class of 1971. Paul was an electrician for IBEW Local #51 of Springfield, IL, retiring in 2003. He was a member of the Herrick Christian Church, IBEW Local #51, NRA, Farm Bureau and Bond-Slave Motorcycle Club. Paul enjoyed fishing and motorcycle riding. He married Susan Diann Witt on June 28, 1975 in Herrick, IL.
He is survived by his wife, Sue; son, Jared Berryman of Springfield, MO; daughters, Savanna Berryman of Herrick, Ashlee Johnston and husband Jesse of Shelbyville, and Ashton Ballinger and husband Ethan of Windsor; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Edward and Lena Witt of Herrick; sister, Coral Berryman (Don) of Long Creek; brother-in-law, Nelson Sarver of Herrick; sisters-in-law, Marietta Berryman of Herrick and Georgia Berryman of Altamont; and grandchildren, Jacob and Jaden Berryman and Ava Ballinger.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Joseph, James, and Robert Berryman; and sister, Carol Sarver.
