Paula A Kammrath

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Monday in Grace Lutheran Church, Strasburg with Rev. Michael Mohr officiating. Visitation from 4:00-7:00 p.m. Sunday in the church. Burial will be in Grace Cemetery, Strasburg. Memorials may be given to Bethesda Lutheran Homes and Services, Concordia Seminary in St. Louis or Grace Lutheran Church in Strasburg. Arrangements by Howe & Yockey Funeral Home, Strasburg.
Paula was born on April 20, 1916 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, the daughter of Adolf and Eugenia Albrecht Klug. She attended Prospect Hall Secretarial College in Milwaukee and was a secretary for an insurance agency. She was a member of Grace Lutheran Church in Strasburg and former member of Hales Corners Lutheran Church in Hales Corners, WI. She married Rev. Marvin Frederick Kammrath on June 29, 1941 in Hales Corners, WI. He died on April 2, 2004.
Surviving are her sons, John (Sara) Kammrath of San Antonio, TX and Dan Kammrath of Glendale, AZ; daughters, Dorcas (Lee) Leman of Laurie, MO, Sue (Rev. Charles) Kittel of Huntley, IL and Holly Giertz of Strasburg; sisters, Edythe (Clayton) Behrens of Rapid City, SD, Caryl (Marshall) Browne of Madison, WI; sister-in-law, Dorothy Klug of Ft. Wayne, IN; 19 grandchildren, Jennifer DeWeese, Joel (Cas) Jennings, Greg (Brooke) Kittel, Eric (Jodi) Kittel, Caleb (Kristi) Kittel, Jessica Kittel, Curt (Annette) Kittel, Tammy Kammrath, Lisa (Kevin) Dierks, Kristin Kammrath, Luke Kammrath, Tonya (Ed) Dunn, Amy (Jason) Bye, Matthew (Elizabeth) Giertz, Mark (Jenni) Giertz, Luke (Melissa) Giertz, Joni (Casey) Musson, Ben Giertz and Jordan Kammrath; and 21 great grandchildren, Logan, Alissa and Colton DeWeese, Sydney and Kylie Jennings, Paige Kittel, Grace and Hope Kittel, Braeden Kittel, Lee Pelton, Micah, Morgan and Marcus Dierks, Stephen and Ella Dunn, Allison and Jonathan Bye, Zachary Giertz, Brooklyn and Paxton Giertz and Brenna Musson.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; infant son, Marvin Kammrath, Jr.; son-in-law, Steve Giertz; and brother, Eugene Klug.
