Paula A. Ragan

Paula Ann Ragan, 74, of Shelbyville, IL, went to be in the loving arms of Jesus at 10:30 p.m. Monday, November 4, 2024, at Pana Health and Rehab Center, Pana, IL. 

Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m. Tuesday, November 12, 2024, at Howe & Yockey Funeral Home, Shelbyville, IL, with Pastor Mike Tapscott officiating. Visitation will be from 2:00-3:00 p.m. Tuesday in the funeral home. Burial will be in Mt. Carmel Cemetery, Shelbyville, IL. Memorials may be given to First Church of the Nazarene, Shelbyville, IL. 

Paula was born on July 5, 1950, in Shelbyville, IL, the daughter of Paul Eugene and Rowena Jane (Duggins) Ragan. She graduated from Shelbyville High School in the Class of 1968 and went on to attend Sparks Business College in Shelbyville. Paula enjoyed 42 years together with her significant other, William J. “Joe” Norfleet. Most recently, Paula worked as a clerk at Walmart in Shelbyville. She enjoyed reading books and going shopping, but most of all, she loved being a grandma. Paula was a member of the First Church of the Nazarene in Shelbyville. 

Paula is survived by her significant other, Joe Norfleet of Shelbyville, IL; brothers, Don Ragan of Shelbyville, IL, and Larry Ragan of Forest, VA; niece, Brandi Ragan of Forest, VA; granddaughter, Bailey Duff of Cowden, IL; great-granddaughter, Piper Duff; and Joe’s siblings, Mary Jane Kern and Bob Norfleet, both of Shelbyville, IL. 

She was preceded in death by her parents, Paul and Rowena Ragan.
