Ramona Kay “Mona” Matlock, 58, of Shelbyville, IL, passed away at 4:00 p.m. Tuesday, February 9, 2021 in her residence.

In keeping with Mona’s wishes, no services will be held.  Arrangem ents are by Howe and Yockey Funeral Home, Shelbyville, IL.  Memorials may be given to the American Cancer Society and mailed to: Howe and Yockey Funeral Hom e, 415 N. Broadway, Shelbyville, IL 62565.

Mona was born on March 27, 1962 in Chowchilla, CA, the daughter of Raymond C. and Barbara Ann (Lyons) Hatley, Sr.  She married Bradley L. “Brad” Matlock on September 6, 1999.  Mona worked for International Paper, Casey’s, and most recently, Lithia Resort, all in Shelbyville, IL.

She is survived by her husband, Brad; four sons, Donnie Wa lden of Shelbyville, IL, Bradley Matlock of Shelbyville, IL, Bobby Matlock of Hoquiam, WA and Ronnie Matlock of Shelbyville, IL; three grandchildren, Tyson Hightower, Ezra Matlock and Rinoa Matlock; brother, Raymond C. Hatley, Jr. of Mattoon, IL; and step-sisters, Tammy Green and Nora Askins.

She was preceded in death by her parents; step-mother, Patricia (Fore) Hatley; and sister, Cheryl Hatley.
