Revis D Durbin

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, July 3, 2013 in Howe and Yockey Funeral Home, Shelbyville with Pastor Monte Bowers officiating. Casual attire is requested. Visitation will be from 5:00-8:00 p.m. Tuesday. Burial will be in Glenwood Cemetery, Shelbyville, IL. Memorials may be given to the American Heart Association or the American Diabetes Association.
Revis was born on November 24, 1942 in Shelbyville, IL, the son of Jesse Raymond and Ruby Hopper Durbin. He graduated from Shelbyville High School in the Class of 1961. He was a farmer and also a grain hauler for the Strasburg Elevator. Revis was a member of the First Christian Church of Shelbyville. He married Pat Click on December 19, 1988.
He is survived by his wife, Pat; daughter, Sherri Flach and husband Allen of Shelbyville; sons, Dale Durbin and wife Ellen of Strasburg, Dwayne Durbin and wife Kim of Shelbyville and Glen Durbin of Shelbyville; grandchildren, Derek Durbin and wife Tiffany, Brandi Brehmer and husband Zed, Josh Flach, Kayla Phegley, Justin Durbin, Laura Flach, Devon Durbin, Mackenize Durbin and Olivia Durbin; great grandchildren, Dustin Bridges, Rowdy, Payton and Makinley Durbin and Emma Brehmer; sisters-in-law, Joyce Jones, Eileen Cooper and Florence Durbin; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Raymond, Elza, Richard and Billy Durbin; great grandson, Walker Dale Durbin; sister-in-law, Barbara Duckett; nephew, Noel Durbin; and great nephew, Curtis Durbin.
