Richard D Orsborn

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday in Howe and Yockey Funeral Home, Shelbyville, Illinois with Rev. Lynette DeAtley officiating. Visitation one hour before services. Burial will be in Washington Cemetery, near Shelbyville. Memorials: American Cancer Society.
Mr. Orsborn was born on March 20, 1933 in Effingham County, Illinois, the son of Lester and Martha Slifer Orsborn. He worked for 40 years for the C. E. & I. and Union Pacific Railroads before his retirement. Richard was a member of the Maintenance of Way Railroad Union. He married Lynda L. Fulton in 1971.
Surviving are his wife, Lynda; sons, Dick Orsborn and Earl (Janice) Orsborn all of Shelbyville; brothers, Lyle (Ollie) Orsborn of Sullivan and Vern (Mary Ellen) Orsborn of Oconee; four grandchildren, Richard (Nicole) Orsborn of Shelbyville, Keetra Orsborn of Windsor, Jeremy Orsborn of Nokomis and Nicci Orsborn of Indiana; and six great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and grandson, Matt Orsborn.
