Richard L Naron

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Memorials may be given to the Shelbyville Fire Protection District or Gift of Hope Organ & Tissue Donor Network in care of the funeral home. Arrangements are by Howe and Yockey Funeral Home, Shelbyville, IL.
Dick was born on February 29, 1968, in Oakland, California, the son of Robert Lahner “Lane” and Connie Jean (Forbes) Naron. He attended Shelbyville High School and was a member of the Class of 1987. Dick was an engineer for the Shelbyville Fire Protection District and also an EMT for the Decatur Ambulance Service in Shelbyville. Dick enjoyed working on his 1972 Chevelle. He married Tammie Lee Heinzmann on July 7, 1988 in Shelbyville.
Dick is survived by his wife of 31 years, Tammie; son, Austin Naron (Kayla) of Shelbyville, IL; daughter Ashlie Reedy (Quinton) of Shelbyville, IL; father, Lane Naron (Polina) of Savannah, GA; sisters, Maria Kay Welton and Christina Carol McKinney both of Shelbyville, IL; three grandchildren, Liam, Tydus and Ronin Reedy; several nieces and nephews, Heather Haines, Whitney Vadakin, Scott Welton, Anthony Naron, and Nicholas Vadakin; and uncles, Rod Naron of Decatur, IL and Steve Naron of Georgia.
He was preceded in death by mother, Connie; and grandmother, Lillie Forbes.
