Robert  Dwain “Bob” Enkoff , 87, of Shelbyville, IL, passed away at 8:25 a.m. on Thursday, December 23, 2021 in HSHS Good Shepherd Hospital, Shelbyville, IL.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, January 3, 2022 in Howe and Yockey Funeral Home, Shelbyville, IL with Rev. Antonio Sutton officiating.  Visitation will be from 10:00-11:00 a.m. Monday in the funeral home.  Burial will be in Glenwood Cemetery, Shelbyville, IL.  Memorials may be given to the Shelbyville Chautauqua Restoration Fund and mailed to Howe and Yockey Funeral Home, 415 N. Broadway, Shelbyville, IL 62565.

Bob was born on January 28, 1934 in Montgomery, Daviess County, IN, the son of Lenard and Ethel Perkins Enkoff.  He graduated from high school in Shoals, IN.  Bob earned his Master’s degree in Education from Indiana State University, in Terre Haute, IN.  Bob was a U.S. Army veteran.  He began teaching school in Paxton, IL and then served as a principal in Shelbyville from August 1967 until his retirement in 1999.  Bob was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Shelbyville, IL.   He enjoyed fishing on Lake Shelbyville, golfing and playing euchre.  He also made fishing lures and repaired golf clubs and golf carts as well.  Bob took great pride in the accomplishments of his children and granddaughter.  He married Eunice Jane McMurry on June 7, 1958 in Crawfordsville, IN.  She preceded him in death on February 17, 2014.

He is survived by his children, Shawn Rickett (Bradley) of Shelbyville, IL and Scott Enkoff of Shelbyville, IL; granddaughter, Megan Yurs (Kaleb) of Neoga, IL; and half sister-in-law, Pauline “Polly” Enkoff of Marshall, IL.

He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Eunice; step-mother, Ruth Enkoff; brother, Ralph Enkoff; and half-brother, David Enkoff.
