Robert S Johnson

Graveside Services will be held at 11:30 a.m. Tuesday, October 22, 2019 in Findlay Cemetery, Findlay, IL with Rev. Ron Newman officiating. Visitation will be from 10:00-11:00 a.m. Tuesday, at Howe & Yockey Funeral Home, Shelbyville, IL. Memorials may be given to the American Cancer Society.
Robert was born on June 10, 1924, in Findlay, IL, the son of Willie A. and Bertha B. (Morris) Johnson. He attended Findlay High School and graduated in the class of 1942. He married Eva Mae Skidmore on November 20, 1951. Robert farmed in the Findlay area until he retired to Shelbyville in 1997.
He is survived by his son, Willie Johnson (Karen Voyles) of Findlay, IL; daughters, Roberta Johnson of Shelbyville, IL, Joan Foster of Wabash, IN, and Lynda Johnson of Shelbyville, IL; sister, Justina Christofferson of Stronghurst, IL; grandchildren, Amanda Foster (Sean Kennedy) of Washington, D.C. and Austin Foster (Emily) of Indianapolis, IN.
Robert was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Eva Mae Johnson; twin children, Donna and Donald Johnson; granddaughter, Heaven Leigh Foster; and son-in-law, Keith Foster.
