A memorial service will be held at noon on Saturday, May 13, 2017 in Howe and Yockey Funeral Home, Shelbyville, IL. Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. – noon on Saturday. Casual attire is requested. Burial will follow in Wright Cemetery, Findlay, IL.
Roger was born on December 29, 1953 in Shelbyville, IL, the son of Robert F. and Mildred I. Riley Perry. He graduated from Findlay High School in the Class of 1972. Roger worked for Trailmobile in Charleston, IL for 19 years. He then worked for International Paper in Shelbyville, IL until his retirement in April 2016. He enjoyed spending time with his family and his dogs. Roger married Connie S. Hudson on September 23, 1977.
He is survived by his wife, Connie; son, Riley G. Perry (Elisabeth) of Findlay, IL; daughter, Brandi L. Chaney (Jeremy) of Strasburg, IL; parents, Robert and Mildred Perry of Sullivan, IL; brother, Gary Perry (Mary) of Mattoon, IL; three grandchildren, Carter and Kinley Chaney and Cooper Novak; and many nieces and nephews.
