Roger was born on June 21, 1941 in Macomb, Illinois, the son of Virgil J. and Virginia M. Hart Perry. He was an independent truck driver.
He is survived by his family: mother, Virginia Perry of Avon, IL; brother, Jon Perry of Macomb, IL; sister, Vala Jensen of Denver, CO; Janice Weber of Shelbyville, IL; Janell Waughtel of Macomb, IL; Jim (Renee) Perry of New Lenox, IL; Jon (Roberta) Perry of Creston, IA; Bill Perry of Lockport, IL; Casey (Shelley) Perry of Custer Park, IL; Bob (Ginny) Weber of Dunlap, IL; Alene (Jeff) Kidd of Minooka, IL; and seventeen grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Sandra Sue Perry on August 22, 1981; and his father, Virgil Perry.
