Rollin H Ragan

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday in Howe & Yockey Funeral Home, Shelbyville with Rev. Gary Fortkamp officiating. Visitation from 6:00-8:00 p.m. Monday and one hour before services on Tuesday. Burial will be in Glenwood Cemetery, Shelbyville with military rites by the Shelby County Honor Guard. Memorials may be given to the Shelby County Humane Society, Shelbyville Community Dialysis Center or Donor’s Choice.
Mr. Ragan was born on September 1, 1925 in Clarksburg Twp., Shelby County, the son of Warren and Esther Grace Hunter Ragan. He was a retired farmer and a U. S. Navy veteran of WW II. He was a member of Shelby County Farm Bureau and Roy Vanderpool American Legion Post # 81 of Shelbyville. He married Audrey A. Bland on October 26, 1955.
Surviving are his wife, Audrey; brothers, Robert Ragan and wife Myra and Merle Ragan and wife Linda all of Effingham; and sisters, Carol Jones and husband Bill of Lincoln, Corma Hurst of Peoria and Wilma Spannagel and husband Lloyd of Strasburg.
He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Rosalie Schultz; six brothers-in-law; and two sisters-in-law.
