Ruth I Linn

A memorial graveside service will be held at 5:00 p.m. Wednesday, September 9, 2020 in Glenwood Cemetery, Shelbyville, IL with Rev. Nathan Woolery officiating. Arrangements are by Howe and Yockey Funeral Home, Shelbyville, IL.
Ruth was born on September 9, 1935, the daughter of Paul Herman Ernst and Helen Emma (Kull) Firnhaber. She was baptized and confirmed at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, which is now Holy Cross Lutheran Church in Shelbyville, IL. Ruth graduated from Shelbyville High School in the Class of 1953 and later from Sparks Business College in Shelbyville. She married Wallace Leon Linn and he preceded her in death.
Ruth is survived by her sisters, Roma Hook and Lila Bolinger; brothers, David Firnhaber and Richard Firnhaber; cousins, Carol Ann Cole, Theresa Pesch, Lynn Kull, Munsel Kull and Angela Ohnesorge; and 52 Firnhaber cousins.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Paul and Helen Firnhaber; and husband, Wallace Leon Linn.
