Nina Ruth “Sally” Keller, 85, of Strasburg, died at 2:45 p.m. Thursday, December 23, 2010.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, December 27, 2010 in Grace Lutheran Church in Strasburg with Rev. Michael Mohr officiating. Visitation from 9:30-11:00 a.m. Monday in the church. Burial will be in Grace Cemetery, Strasburg. Arrangements are by Howe and Yockey Funeral Home in Strasburg. Memorials may be given to March of Dimes, St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital or donor’s choice.

Sally was born on January 21, 1925 in Strasburg, Illinois, the daughter of Charles “Tud” and Lena Doehring Wilson. She graduated from Strasburg High School. She worked at CIPS in Mattoon for 30 years before she retired in 1987. Sally loved her job, the people she worked with and all the customers she met as head cashier. After her retirement, she worked for Jack and Bill’s Clothing Store in Mattoon. Sally was a member of Grace Lutheran Church in Strasburg, Strasburg American Legion Auxiliary and was a Gold Star Sister. She married Michael Meeker of Mattoon on October 24, 1943 and they were blessed with two children. She later married Theodore R. “Skeet” Albin on October 3, 1990 and he died on April 18, 2001. She married Elmer B. “Jinks” Keller on January 1, 2003. He died on August 30, 2009.

Sally is survived by her daughter, Diane Paraiso of Strasburg; son, Ken Meeker and wife Mary of Orlando, FL; step-daughter, Cathy Rauch and husband Ed of Mason, OH; step-son, Rick Keller and wife Dana of Effingham; grandchildren, Gus Paraiso of Strasburg, Geoff Meeker of Pembroke Pine, FL, and Claire Poynter of Oxford, MI; seven step-grandchildren; five great grandchildren; and 14 step-great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husbands, Theodore Albin and Elmer Keller; brother, Kenneth Wilson, who was killed in WW II; and one infant grandchild.
