Sandra “Sandi” M. Anderson , 76, of Shelbyville, IL, passed away at 10:00 p.m. Saturday, January 8, 2022 in HSHS Good Shepherd Hospital, Shelbyville, IL.

A visitation will be held from 6:00-8:00 p.m. Friday, January 14, 2022 in Howe and Yockey Funeral Home, Shelbyville, IL.  Memorials may be given to her family in care of the funeral home.

Sandi was born on March 6, 1945 in Shelbyville, IL, the daughter of Elza and Mable Marie (Robinson) Scribner.  She attended Findlay High School and was a member of the Class of 1963.  Sandi provided in home health care for the elderly.  She was also an election judge and a volunteer for the Red Cross and the Salvation Army.  Sandi was a member of the First Christian Church of Shelbyville and Old River ABATE.  She enjoyed making friends, fishing and watching the Chicago Bears.

She is survived by her daughters, Tina Sandvik of Ohio and Tonya Lane of Shelbyville, IL; special friend, Gary Sievers of Shelbyville, IL; sister, Linda Cunningham of Shelbyville, IL; grandchildren, Ray Wingate, Frank Reis III, and Michael Reis all of Ohio, Derek Ray of Shelbyville, IL and Trina Anderson of Houston, TX; and many great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; son Todd Anderson (2010); daughter, Sonya Scribner (1970); and brother, Roger Scribner.
