Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Wednesday, October 2, 2013 in Howe and Yockey Funeral Home, Shelbyville with Chaplain Tim Haworth officiating. Visitation from 12:30-1:30 p.m. Wednesday. Burial will be in Glenwood Cemetery, Shelbyville, IL.
Sarah was born on September 19, 1946 in Shelbyville, IL, the daughter of David F. and Faye Shanholtzer Whitehead. She was an Aide at Shelbyville Manor for many years.
She is survived by her son, Terry Koontz; special friend, Robert Orme of Shelbyville; sister, Pearl Donaldson of Shelbyville; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Wilbur, William and Willard Whitehead; and sisters, Fleta Griffith, Margaret Morgan, Lela Carpenter and Maribelle Whitehead.
