Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, October 2, 2015 in St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, Strasburg, IL with Rev. Steven Becker officiating. Visitation will be from 9:00 – 11:00 a.m. at the church. Burial will be at Grace Cemetery, Strasburg, IL. Memorials may be given to St. Paul’s Lutheran Church or Strasburg Community Foundation. Arrangements are by Howe and Yockey Funeral Home, Strasburg, IL.
Scott was born September 1, 1953 in Shelbyville, IL, the son of Gene and Dorothy Reel Stremming. He graduated from Stewardson-Strasburg High School in the class of 1971. Scott was a member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, Strasburg, IL.
Scott is survived by mother, Dorothy; brother, Tim Stremming and wife Kim of Edwardsville, IL; and nieces, Dr. Jane E. Stremming of Atlanta, GA and Emily G. Stremming of St. Louis, MO.
He was preceded in death by his father, Gene M. Stremming.
