Sharon A Sladek

A celebration of Sharon’s life will be held at a later date in Shelbyville, IL. Memorials may be given to her family in care of Howe and Yockey Funeral Home, 415 N. Broadway, Shelbyville, IL 62565.
Sharon was born on March 21, 1951 in Berwyn, IL, the daughter of John J. and Dorothy M. (Kasperski) Tetlak. She worked for Shelbyville Rehabilitation and Health Care Center in Shelbyville for many years. Sharon previously worked for International Harvester in Melrose Park, IL and Image Impact in Cicero, IL. She enjoyed shopping, fishing, traveling, taking cruises, feeding the hummingbirds, tending to her flowers and being with her family. She married Kenneth A. Sladek on October 30, 1971.
She is survived by her husband, Kenneth; daughter, Kimberly L. Pinson (Clint Miller) of Shelbyville, IL; son, Kenneth R. Sladek of Shelbyville, IL; granddaughter, Katlyn M. Sladek of Shelbyville, IL; brothers, John Tetlak (Lori) of Elk Grove Village, IL and George Tetlak (Debbie) of Oak Forest, IL; brothers-in-law, Mark Sladek (Loretta) of Berwyn, IL and Larry Thomczek of Surprise, AZ; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her father, John Tetlak; mother, Dorothy Tetlak on July 29, 2009; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Arthur and Lucille Sladek; and sister-in-law, Sharon Thomczek.
