Sharon K Mohr

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, May 27, 2015 in Grace Lutheran Church, Strasburg, IL, with Rev. David Weaver officiating. Visitation will be from 5:00 – 8:00pm p.m. Tuesday in the church. Graveside services will be held at 12:30 p.m. Wednesday in Macon County Memorial Park, Decatur, IL. Arrangements are by Howe and Yockey Funeral Home, Strasburg, IL. Memorials may be given to Trinity Lutheran School Building Fund, Effingham Family Life Center, Exceptional Equestrians of Missouri Valley or donor choice.
Mrs. Mohr was born on June 18, 1945 in Decatur, IL the daughter of William and Anna Groene Roper. She graduated from Lakeview High School in Decatur, IL and the University of Missouri – St. Louis. Sharon was a retired accountant, working for Kemper Insurance, Costello and Yoder Tax Service and Mirex/IKON. Sharon was a member of Grace Lutheran Church in Strasburg, IL. She married Gale Mohr on November 24, 1966.
She is survived by her sons, Rev. Michael Mohr of Strasburg and Mr. Matthew Mohr and wife Lindsay of Ballwin, MO; brother-in-law, Kenneth Minton of Decatur; granddaughters, Finley and Cecilia Mohr of Ballwin, MO; and many beloved nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her parents; son, Bryan Mohr; and sister, Verna Minton.
