Shirley Ann Krile, 79, of Windsor, IL, died at 3:10 p.m. Saturday, June 1, 2013 in Heartland Christian Village, Neoga, IL.

Private family services were held Sunday evening in Howe and Yockey Funeral Home, Shelbyville with Rev. Michael Mohr officiating. Burial will be at a later date in Windsor Cemetery, Windsor, IL. Memorials may be given to Grace Lutheran Church, Strasburg, IL, National Multiple Sclerosis Society or Parkinson’s Foundation.

Mrs. Krile was born on March 20, 1934 in Richview, IL, the daughter of Roy Cecil “Shorty” and Grace Irene Krietemeier Finley. She was a member of the Grace Lutheran Church in Strasburg, IL. She married Melvin Charles Krile on September 19, 1954. Shirley spent her life lovingly caring for her husband, children, grandchildren and also her parents and in laws in their later years. Her dedication to serving them was first and foremost in her life. She will be missed by those to whom she wrote letters and sent cards, as she realized the need to console and build up others by notes and expressions of God’s love.

She is survived by her husband, Melvin; son, Derrick (Nickie) Krile of Windsor, IL; daughter, Marianna (Leland) Moffett of Windsor, IL; brother, Jerry (Phyllis) Finley of Mattoon, IL; sister, Janean Carter of Windsor, IL; five grandchildren, Kendra (Brock) Montgomery of Gays, IL, Jackie (Kevin) Beitz of Windsor, IL, Blake (Tanya) Moffett of Gays, IL, Melissa Krile (fiancé Josh Pruemer) of Strasburg, IL and Courtnay (Bob) Orman of Windsor, IL; two step-grandchildren, Tab Varney of Canada and Phillip (Alicia) Varney of Mattoon, IL; and four great grandchildren, Madison Beitz, Paisley Montgomery, Asa Varney and Brenlee Orman with three more great grandchildren expected this year.

She was preceded in death by her parents.
