Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, November 18, 2009 in Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Shelbyville with Father Don Wolford officiating. Visitation from 10:00-11:00 a.m. Wednesday in the church. Burial will be in Glenwood Cemetery, Shelbyville. Arrangements are by Howe and Yockey Funeral Home, Shelbyville. Memorials may be given to Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Shelbyville.
Shirley was born on January 17, 1924 in Taft Samar, Philippines, the daughter of Honorio and Teborcia Belana Esplana. She was a coordinator for Monsanto in Chicago, IL for many years. She was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Shelbyville. She married Norbert Edward Wozniak in 1979. He died on April 26, 1989.
Surviving are her cousins, Juwana Gyza of Welksbarre, PA, Maxine Langley of San Francisco, CA and several in the Philippines and friends, Bill and Emily Milby of Mode, Dr. Edwin and Sally Siroy and Dr. Urbano and Dr. Virginia Dauz all of Shelbyville.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and husband, Norbert.
