Stacey L. Hudson

Stacey Lynn Hudson, 70, of Shelbyville, IL, passed away at 5:08 a.m. Sunday, November 3, 2024, in HSHS Good Shepherd Hospital, Shelbyville, IL.

Graveside services will be held at 3:00 p.m. Saturday, November 9, 2024, in Glenwood Cemetery, Division 6, Shelbyville, IL with Virgil Haynes officiating. Visitation will be from 1:00-3:00 p.m. Saturday in Howe and Yockey Funeral Home, 415 N. Broadway, Shelbyville, IL. Casual attire is requested. Memorials may be given to Shelbyville High School FFA or Shelbyville High School Basketball Program.

Stacey was born on December 12, 1953, in Shelbyville, IL, the son of Kenneth Trevor and Dorothy May (Noffke) Hudson. He graduated from Shelbyville High School in the Class of 1972. Stacey owned and operated the FarmHouse Restaurant in Shelbyville and retired after 20+ years in the business. He also co-founded GameDay Custom T’s in Shelbyville with his son and daughter-in-law, Kyle and Laura. Stacey enjoyed hunting, attending his grandchildren’s sporting activities and hanging out with friends and family at the FarmHouse liar’s table. 

He is survived by his son, Kyle Hudson (Laura) of Shelbyville, IL; grandchildren, Kyley, Tanner and Pyper Hudson all of Shelbyville, IL; former wife and Kyle’s mother, Bonnie Hudson of Shelbyville, IL; siblings, Paula VanWaus of Victor, IA, Kerry Hudson (Jean) of Shelbyville, IL, Marla Baird of Pinehurst, NC and Kenny Hudson (Missy) of Cowden, IL; and several nieces and nephews. 

He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers-in-law, Rusty VanWaus and Terry Baird; and great niece, Susan Baird.
