A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, August 19, 2020 in Howe and Yockey Funeral Home, Shelbyville, IL with Rev. Dan Seibert officiating. Memorials may be given to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital or the First United Methodist Church of Shelbyville, IL and mailed to Howe and Yockey Funeral Home, 415 N. Broadway, Shelbyville, IL 62565.
Tammie was born on March 25, 1959 in Mt. Vernon, IL, the daughter of Master Sergeant Lawrence Paul O’Bryant, Sr. and Patsy Ann (Rector) O’Bryant. She attended Mt. Vernon High School, Rend Lake College and Parkland College and was licensed as a Certified Nurse’s Assistant. Tammie was a caregiver for Midwest Home Care in Mattoon, IL and later was the owner of Quality Care In-Home Care Providers in Urbana, IL. She was baptized at Free Will Baptist Church in Mt. Vernon, IL and was a friend of Bill W. and a friend of Jimmy K. Tammie married John F. Bolinger on April 3, 1996.
She is survived by her husband, John; daughter, Brittany Peek of Mesa, AZ; brothers, Lawrence Paul O’Bryant, Jr. of Logan, IL and Gary A. O’Bryant of Mt. Vernon, IL; and sister, Angela K. O’Bryant of Mt. Vernon, IL.
She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Rickie O’Bryant, Randy O’Bryant and Robie O’Bryant.
