Mr. Borkowski was born on July 30, 1938 in Chicago, IL, the son of Casimer and Mary Budniewski Borkowski. He was a retired electrician working for LTV Steel in Chicago, IL. Thomas was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church and Moose Lodge #1294 both in Shelbyville, IL.
He is survived by his son, Leonard E. Borkowski of Dyer, IN; sister, Adeline Yackee of Hegewisch, Chicago, Illinois; significant other, Pat Hyzy of Shelbyville, IL; 3 grandchildren; and one great grandson.
He was preceded in death by his parents; son, Thomas J. Borkowski; two brothers, John and Edward Sipulski; and sister, Florence Supinski.
