Funeral services will be held at 12:30 p.m. Tuesday in Schmaedeke Funeral Home, Worth, Illinois. Visitation from 11:30 a.m. Tuesday until time of service. Burial will be in Holy Sepulcher Cemetery in Alsip, Illinois. Local arrangements by Howe & Yockey Funeral Home, Shelbyville.
Mr. Staszewski was born on June 1, 1934 in Chicago, Illinois, the son of Joseph and Mildred Scott Staszewski. He was a retired policeman and truck driver for the City of Chicago. He married Dorothy Jean Keller on February 20, 1996.
Surviving are his wife, Jean; sons, Joseph Staszewski and wife Cindy of Worth and Michael Staszewski of Shelbyville; daughter, Nicole Ahasay and husband Gary of Mattoon; sister, Frances Stack of Worth; and three grandchildren, Charity, Joseph and Jenna Staszewski.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
