Timothy S Lynch

A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, April 20, 2018 in Glenwood Cemetery, Shelbyville, IL with Bishop Thomas Suey officiating and military rites by the Shelby County Honor Guard. Visitation will be held from 6:00-8:00 p.m. on Thursday, April 19, 2018 in Howe and Yockey Funeral Home, Shelbyville, IL. Memorials may be given to Tim’s family.

Tim as born on September 9, 1952 in Pana, Illinois, the son of Dewey Eugene “Gene” and Evaun Marie (Gilmore) Lynch. He graduated from Findlay High School in the Class of 1970. Tim then served in the U.S. Army. He was a salesman for US World Foods. Tim was a professional fisherman and a fishing guide on Lake Shelbyville for several years. He married Debi Wicker on July 19, 1975. She preceded him in death on October 3, 2006.

He is survived by his daughters, Krista Curry (Brandon) of West Frankfort, IL and Kim McClimans (Jarrod) of Shelbyville, IL; grandchildren, Zachary, Sophia, and Sylvia Curry, Kyla and Mathius Hutchison, and Lillyanne, Zoey, Jaxson, and Gavyn McClimans; brothers, Mike Lynch (Cathy) of Mattoon, IL and David Lynch (Martha) of Bryan, TX; sister, Laurie Hubbartt (Bill) of Findlay, IL; and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Debi; brother, Steven Lynch; sister, Patricia Beck; brother-in-law, Gary Beck; nephew, Zachary Hubbartt; and niece-in-law, Heather Lynch.
