Tina Kay Smith , 47, of Herrick, IL, passed away at 12:44 a.m. Monday, March 8, 2021 at HSHS Good Shepherd Hospital.

Funeral services will be held at noon on Friday, March 12, 2021 at Howe and Yockey Funeral Home, Shelbyville, IL.  Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. – noon Friday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Watson Cemetery, Watson, IL. Memorials may be given to the Tina Smith Family.

Tina was born on March 9, 1973 in Decatur, IL, the daughter of Earl Edward and Nancy Lucille (Hopkins) Smith. She attended Cowden-Herrick High School, graduating in the Class of 1991. Tina previously worked as a CNA at Shelbyville Manor and Shelbyville Rehabilitation and Heath Care Center in Shelbyville. She enjoyed cooking, caring for her cats and playing games.

Tina is survived by her daughter, LaKatlyn Shea Smith of Herrick, IL; parents, Earl and Nancy Smith of Herrick, IL; and sister, Lori Davis (Branden) of Watson, IL.

She was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Guy and Florence Smith; and maternal grandparents, George and June Hopkins.
