Troy D Shuff

A visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. Saturday, January 6, 2018 in Howe and Yockey Funeral Home, Shelbyville, IL. Burial will be at a later date in Glenwood Cemetery, Shelbyville, IL. Memorials may be given to Cancer Care Specialists of Illinois in Decatur or Quad County Hospice.

Troy was born on November 29, 1962 in Vandalia, IL, the son of Roy Clark and Marilyn Joyce (Frakes) Shuff. He graduated from Shelbyville High School in the Class of 1981. Troy was a CNC Laser Operator at P&H Manufacturing in Shelbyville, IL, where he enjoyed working for over 34 years. He also enjoyed gardening, antiquing, collecting and watching auto racing and sports. He was an avid fan of the Chicago Cubs, Bears and Blackhawks.

He is survived by his beloved daughter, Jennifer Sickles and husband Tyler of Shelbyville, IL; grandson, Carson Sickles of Shelbyville, IL; mother, Marilyn Shuff of Shelbyville, IL; twin brother, Terry Shuff of Shelbyville, IL; sisters, Tracie Helton and husband Patrick of Shelbyville, IL and Tami Shuff of Shelbyville, IL; nephew, Charlie Shuff of Shelbyville, IL; nieces, Sydnie Helton of Shelbyville, IL and Hilary Shuff and Christian Bothwell of Shelbyville, IL; great nieces, Piper and Emma Bothwell; and Jennifer’s mother, Shari Shuff of Decatur, IL.

He was preceded in death by his father, Roy.

A special thank you to the doctors at Cancer Care Specialists of Illinois in Decatur and also the nurses of Quad County Hospice: Andrea, Jill and Susan, for the care given to Troy.
