Vicki Hightower

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, July 10, 2013 in Howe and Yockey Funeral Home, Shelbyville, IL with Rev. Ken Robinson officiating. Visitation will be from 6:00-8:00 p.m. Tuesday. Burial will be in Robinson Creek Cemetery, near Shelbyville, IL. Memorials may be given to the Arthritis Foundation or the Muscular Dystrophy Association.
Vicki was born on May 7, 1957 in Litchfield, IL, the daughter of Ernie and Barbara Mills Richardson. She graduated from Shelbyville High School in the Class of 1975. She was a mother and a homemaker. She married Michael L. “Mike” Hightower on May 24, 1996.
She is survived by her husband, Mike; sons, Eric Hightower and wife Alicia of Minot, ND, Dylan Hightower and wife Sylvia of Fort Hood, TX and Matthew Hightower of Pana, IL; daughter, Alayna Hightower of Shelbyville, IL; mother, Barbara Richardson of Shelbyville, IL; brother, Ernie Richardson and wife Brenda of Shelbyville, IL; and sisters, Brenda Sands of Shelbyville, IL and Tammy Thompson and husband Joe of Windsor, IL.
She was preceded in death by her father, Ernie Richardson; and brother-in-law, Mike Sands.
