In keeping with Virginia’s wishes, there will be no services. Memorials may be given to the American Cancer Society. Arrangements are by Howe and Yockey Funeral Home, Shelbyville, IL.
Virginia was born May 23, 1944 in Clarksburg, IL, the daughter of Walter Lee and Edna Etta (Shanholtzer) Severe. She was the first born of the Severe triplets; Virginia, Virgil, and Velma. Virginia loved everything nature and country music too. She was very thoughtful and caring. Virginia would call her family every night to check on them.
She is survived by her sisters, Barbara Mahnke (Fred), Velma Dilley, and Wanda Trimble, all of Shelbyville, IL; many nieces and nephews; and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Walter Lee Severe, Jr., Harvey Severe, and Virgil Severe; and sisters, Dolly Severe, Wilma Severe, Norma Mose and Catherine Woolard.
