Wanda J. White, 91, of Shelbyville, IL, died at 3:45 p.m. Monday, March 16, 2015 in Shelby Memorial Hospital.

Funeral services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Friday, March 20, 2015 in Howe and Yockey Funeral Home, Shelbyville, IL with Rev. Kevin Ray officiating. Visitation will be from 1:30-2:30 p.m. Friday in the funeral home. Burial will be in Glenwood Cemetery, Shelbyville, IL. Memorials may be given to First Christian Church of Shelbyville or Shelby County Senior Citizens Center.

Wanda was born on January 8, 1924 in the Village of Niagara, Marinette County, Wisconsin, the daughter of Henry Barnum and Mary Lulu (Spaugh) Hulsopple. She was a bookkeeper at Ameren CIPS in Shelbyville until her retirement. Wanda was a member of the First Christian Church of Shelbyville and CWF of the church. She was also a 50 year member of Beta Sigma Phi Sorority. Wanda loved crocheting, shuffling, walking the beach, shell collecting, cooking for her family, studying the Bible, attending Bible study, and volunteering with the reading program at a grade school in Bradenton, FL. She married James C. White on January 3, 1942. Wanda and Jim celebrated their 73rd wedding anniversary in January. Her family was very special to her.

She is survived by her husband, Jim; daughter, Becky Clark and husband Merle of Paris, IL; daughter-in-law, Brenda White of Murphysboro, IL; four grandchildren, Shannon Clark, Travis Clark, Jimmy White and Jennifer White Sheskey; step-grandson, Jeff Brown; eight great grandchildren, Cody Sheskey, Garrett Clark, Tanner Clark, Austin Clark, Shelby Clark, Ashley Clark, Tyler Sheskey, and Andrew Clark; two step-great grandchildren, Jason Brown and Jessica Brown; and one step-great great grandson, Aiden Bryan.

She was preceded in death by her parents; son, Dennis J. White; three brothers, Otto, Doval and Duane Hulsopple; sister, Fern Brent; and step-grandson, Mike Brown.
