Will H. (Cap) Frederick 82 of Shelbyville, passed away at 11:30 pm Thursday, August 31, 2006 in Shelby Memorial Hospital.

Funeral services will be at 3pm Sunday Sept 3, 2006 in Howe and Yockey Funeral Home in Shelbyville. Visitation will be one hour prior to service. Burial will be in Glenwood Cemetery, Shelbyville. Memorials may be given to Heritage Baptist Academy in Gays or Shelby County Relay for Life.

Cap was born at Todds Point, near Sullivan, IL on Jan 11, 1924, the son of Macy Devere and Edna Mathison Frederick. Mr. Frederick worked at Oliver Corporation and P & H Manufacturing for many years. He owned and operated Frederick Memorials for 40 years and then for Clark Memorial until his retirement at age 78. He was a member of the Henton Church of God, serving as an Elder for several years. He married Norma Jean Hood on July 8, 1944. Jean preceded him in death on July 18, 1985.

Surviving are his sons, Wm. Mike Frederick and wife Linda of Shelbyville and John W. Frederick and wife Kristie of Shelbyville; daughter, Mindy Mars and husband Wayne of Shelbyville; grandchildren, Michelle Frederick of Effingham, Erin Hagen, Martha Graven and husband Heath, Mike Frederick and wife Amy, Mac Frederick and wife Becky, Abby Wilson and husband Adam, Wes Frederick and wife Jaclyn, Nate Frederick and wife Marci, all of Shelbyville, Jason Mars and wife Christie of Springfield, MO, Betsy Hicks, Jon Mars, J.R. Leslie, JoEllen Mars, and Drew Cisna all of Shelbyville, and Kris Cisna of Indianapolis IN; great grandchildren, Kaitlin Frederick of Effingham, Dana Robertson, Hope Robertson, Beau Graven, Nicole Graven, Jenna Frederick, Boone Frederick, Luke Wilson, Anna Wilson, Chloe Frederick, Zoe Frederick, Erin Nichols, Kelsi Frederick, Natalie Frederick, Delani Frederick, Madison Cisna, and Emily Hicks all of Shelbyville; step-son, Tyson Mahnke of Shelbyville; special family friends, Steve and Kathy Hubner of Shelbyville; brothers and sisters, Mary Lucy Drake of Sullivan, AnnaBelle Malloy of Sullivan, Bruce Frederick of West Haven , FL , Margurite Gallagher of Mattoon, Rev. Jacob Frederick and wife Shirley of Gays, Pearl Hudson of Sullivan, Beverly Bolsen of Mattoon, and Sam Frederick and wife Kay of Sullivan.

He was preceded in death by his wife; his parents; brothers, Charles Frederick, Chester Frederick; and sister, Ethel May Jent.

Cap enjoyed his hobbies, fishing and hunting, and bluegrass music. He never met a stranger and was a friend to everyone. He was a great dad, and Grandfather always there for family and most of all he enjoyed all of his grandchildren and great grand children. His love of his family will remain in all of our hearts. He will be greatly missed.
