William D Durbin

A private family graveside service will be held Friday, April 10, 2020 at Mt. Carmel Cemetery near Shelbyville, IL. Arrangements are by Howe and Yockey Funeral Home, Shelbyville, IL.
Bill was born on September 13, 1958 in Decatur, IL, the son of William J. and Opal L. (Riley) Durbin. He was a graduate of Tower Hill High School in the Class of 1977. Bill worked as an ironworker for Local 46 in Springfield, IL and previously in for Local 808 in Florida. Bill was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed hunting, fishing, and mushroom hunting.
Bill is survived by his longtime companion, Tina Durbin; sons, William Durbin and Brian Durbin, both of Pana, IL; father, William J. Durbin of Tower Hill, IL; brothers, Joe (Alisha) Durbin of Oconee, IL, and Mike (Jana) Durbin of Shelbyville, IL; sister, Sherry Smith of Pana, IL; and two grandchildren, Mariah Durbin and Brian Durbin Jr. both of Pana, IL.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Opal; and brothers-in-law, Carl Miller and Vernon Smith.
