Wilma I Marquiss

Wilma was born on February 13, 1926 in Shelbyville, IL, the daughter of Raymond McClain and Goldie Elizabeth Harlow Wood. She was a member of the First Church of the Nazarene in Shelbyville. Wilma married Robert Oliver Marquiss and they celebrated 65 years of marriage. He died on August 20, 2012.
She is survived by her son, Robert Eugene Marquiss and wife Shirley of Vienna, IL; daughters, Brenda McHenry of Sullivan, IL and Gwenda Boys and husband Don of Shelbyville, IL; son-in-law, Jim Stivers of Findlay, IL; grandchildren, Amy Rhoads, Kimberly Adamson, Ashley McHenry, Clayton Stivers, Jason Stivers, Aaron Marquiss, Ruth Ann Marquiss and Hanna Marquiss; great grandchildren, Derek Hinton, Briare Hinton, Chance Hinton, Caroline Adamson, Oliver Adamson, Ella Stivers, Mia Stivers and Cole Stivers; step-great grandchildren, Austin Rhoads and Haley Rhoads; and great great grandchildren, Michaela and Korbyn.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Robert; daughter, Sonja Stivers; grandson, Jeremy Cutler; brothers, Richard and Jimmy Wood; and sisters, Phyllis Strohl, June Edwards, Violet Reichart, Jean Brown and Marge Trimble.
