Yvonne D Stirrett

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday in Howe & Yockey Funeral Home, Shelbyville with Rev. Greg Breeden officiating. Visitation from 5:00-8:00 p.m. Monday. Burial will be in Glenwood Cemetery, Shelbyville. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to the First Church of the Nazarene in Shelbyville or the Forest Park Expansion Project for Youth Sports.
Yvonne was born on February 26, 1945 in Shelbyville, the daughter of Robert L. and Wanita Louise Williams Camfield. She graduated from Shelbyville High School in the Class of 1963 and then attended college in Minneapolis, MN to become a medical assistant. Yvonne was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She was a member of the First Church of the Nazarene of Shelbyville. She married Roger J. Stirrett on July 25, 1964. He died on August 3, 2004.
Surviving are her sons, Brent Stirrett and wife Carla, Jeff Stirrett and special friend Karen, and Brian Stirrett and wife Christy all of Shelbyville; sister, Dianne Atteberry and husband Jim of Shelbyville; brother, Mark Camfield and wife Rhonda of Granger, IN; and grandchildren, Evan, Amanda, Zach, Ben and Morgan Stirrett.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Roger; mother; father; and step-mother, Mabel G. Camfield.
