Robert E. Falk, 86, of St. Cloud, FL, formerly of Strasburg, IL, died Monday, March 28, 2011 in St. Cloud Regional Medical Center, St. Cloud, FL.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, April 5, 2011 in Grace Lutheran Church in Strasburg, IL with Rev. Michael Mohr officiating. Visitation from 6:00-8:00 p.m. Monday in Howe and Yockey Funeral Home, Strasburg, IL. Burial will be in Grace Cemetery, Strasburg, IL with military rites by Strasburg American Legion Post #289. Memorials may be given to Grace Lutheran Church in Strasburg, IL or Strasburg Veterans Memorial.

Mr. Falk was born on December 24, 1924 in Herborn, IL, the son of Frank and Eliza Duddleston Falk. He graduated from Stewardson High School and was a U. S. Army veteran of WW II. He owned and operated Falk Repair Shop in Strasburg until his retirement. He was a member of Grace Lutheran Church in Strasburg, IL, Grace Lutheran Church in St. Cloud, FL and a lifetime member of Strasburg American Legion Post #289. He married Audrey Gail Engel on August 9, 1945. She died on May 30, 2008.

Surviving are his son, Stephen R. Falk of Dallas, GA; daughter, Lisa West and husband Bill of Mode, IL; two grandchildren, Tanya Hand and husband Adam of Albany, IN and Angela Endebrock and husband Chris of Salem, IL; and five great grandchildren, Kellie and Bobby Hand and Kira, Deanna and Louise Endebrock.

He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Audrey; two brothers, Harry and Joe Falk; and three sisters, Grace Woods, Evelyn Garrett and Mary Ann Hall.
